Venezuelan musician and southern suburbs resident, Rafa Godoy, will be launching his much-anticipated new album Chocolato Espresso at the Nexus Multicultural Centre next month.
Having migrated to Australia 13 years ago to start a new life here, Rafa follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, a famous composer from Colombia, providing a blend of powerful guitar and captivating vocals in this new release.
He now lives in Aldinga Beach and says the relaxed lifestyle and living near the wine region of McLaren Vale has helped inspire him to write a new album.
‘This album brings together a fusion of folk, rock and world music’, Rafa said. ‘It’s a mix of catchy melodies about my love of coffee and wine, everyday life, music, relationships and good times.’
With his music growing in popularity and a charming demeanor, Rafa’s launch of Chocolato Espresso will be a fantastic opportunity for people to envelop their senses in delightful tunes influenced by world music.
